Concept
A mysterious guitar pedal that seems to channel energy from an unknown source, hailing from the Art Deco period.
Role
I created the prop design, while creating hi-poly and low-poly models alongside UV unwraps and textures.
Designs
I designed the pedal while iterating upon multiple designs and keeping in mind Art Deco motifs and the function of each component of a guitar pedal, including the foot switch, input jacks, and dials.


Modelling
Modelling was done in Maya, with a high-poly version created in Blender using booleans and sculpting. Normals and texture maps were created in Substance Painter. To keep polycount low, the pedal indents were baked into the low-poly version, instead of being defined in topology.








Renders
Final renders were rendered in Arnold with compositing done in After Effects.
